Fourth-graders from St, Rose Elementary School gather around a blanket Wednesday to learn about nature at a campground near Covington. Twenty-five students attended the three-day Teaching Responsible Earth Education program, where they studied energy cycles and natural interactions, said Sue Brown, left, the camp's director. "Students are learning about the Earth in ways they will remember," Brown said.

This program is fantastic! My child has used the knowledge he gained there on other science chapters and on the LEAP for the 4th grade. -- Parent of Earthkeeprs Participant
