T.R.E.E. Wish List
We are in need of many different items to keep our programs running. If you are able to help in any way, please contact us. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible.
RAW MATERIALS
- Louisiana Mineral Deposits Map
- Pictures postcards, or stickers of plants, animals and minerals
- Old magazines (specifically, National Geographic, Ranger Rick, Plant, Animal or Mineral magazines)
- Mardi Gras Beads
- Small baby food jars with the labels soaked off
- Cardboard egg cartons (You know the ones; holds a dozen eggs and is grey)
VOLUNTEERING
- Cut and drill nametag wood (we can supply the wood)
- Collect and press flowers and leaves (size to fit in 4"X4" Suncatcher)
- Cut out animals and plants from nature magazines (magazines provided)
EQUIPMENT
- Bus (T.R.E.E. needs it's own bus to allow for extended program times)
- Computers (Windows 2000 minimum, Windows XP preferred)
- Large laminating machine
- Sewing machine (Industrial or Heavy Duty)
OUTREACH
- Photographer for T.R.E.E. publicity
- Printing of learning materials
- Olympus Digital tape recorders
AUDIO VISUAL
- Video projector and audio system for AV presentations at opening of programs
- Rechargeable battery system
COMMUNITY OUTREACH
- Places for Tree Talks - Help us find places (a home, business, community center,
etc.) to invite 10-12 people to introduce them to what T.R.E.E. does.
- Introductions to Community/Business Leaders - Connect us with those who may
be interested in partnering with T.R.E.E. through financial support.
- Matching Contributions - Check with your company for a matching contribution
program to fund either individuals or a class for upcoming program sessions
- Speak at a Tree Talk - Share your experiences from a T.R.E.E. program with the
community in a 3-5 minute talk.
- Public Relations - Assist with contacts for media coverage and/or public awareness
of future T.R.E.E. programs and events.
